Candy/Dessert Bar Add-On: Gelée Shots Your Guests Will Love
When we hear Jell-O Shots, we immediately think of high school or college parties. No matter how old we get, some of us will always be a carefree 20-something-year-old at heart. With this in mind, we set out to create a list of sophisticated Jello Shots, that are just as pretty as to look at as they are delicious. These bougie Jell-O shots, which go by the adult alias "gelée," are beautiful little squares of jiggly booze that actually taste like real cocktails. The perfect addition to a candy or dessert bar.
Key Lime Gelée Shots
For the crust:
2/3 cup crushed graham crackers
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
For the jello:
1 cup vanilla vodka
1 small box of lime Jell-O
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup half and half
FRENCH 75 Gelée SHOTS
Ingredients:
10 oz plus 2oz champagne
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
3 envelopes Knox Gelatin
3 oz cognac
Bramble Gelée Shot:
Blackberry Layer
6oz blackberry liqueur
1envelope unflavored gelatin
1box (3 oz.) Jell-O™ grape
1cup hot water
Sour Layer:
1cup gin, lemon infused or use vodka
2/3cup fresh lemon juice
1/2cup sugar
4envelopes unflavored gelatin
Champagne Strawberry Gelée Shots
3 tablespoons or 3 envelopes of unflavored gelatin powder
2 cups cold water
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups cold champagne
1 1/2 cups cold ginger ale
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
Watermelon Gelée Shots
1 box Jolly Rancher Watermelon jello
1 box Green/lime jello
2 tablespoons Sweetened Condensed Milk
2.5 cups water
2 cups tequila (or alcohol of choice, vodka would be good too)
3 envelops Knox gelatin
Cucumber lime Margarita Gelée Shots
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt (or sea salt)
1 tablespoon large crystal sugar
For the Cayenne Sprinkle
1/4 cup triple sec
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup frozen limeade concentrate (thawed)
1/2 cup water
1 small cucumber
3/4 cup agave (silver) tequila
Double stuffed Oreo Gelée Shots
1 cup cake/vanilla-flavored vodka
1 cup white chocolate Godiva liqueur
1 cup milk
3 packets of unflavored gelatin
1 package of Oreo cookies
Fireball Gelée Cupcake Shots
1 1/3 cup ginger ale
2 envelopes gelatin plain / unflavored (1/4oz per envelope)
2/3 cup Fireball whisky
2-3 drops food coloring red, optional
FOR THE BUTTER CREAM FROSTING
1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
1 tbsp Fireball whisky
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 pinch salt

1 cup cake-flavored vodka
1 cup white chocolate Godiva liqueur
1 cup milk
3 packets of unflavored gelatin
sprinkles and whipped cream for garnish
Pina Colada Gelée Shots
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin, or 1 envelope gelatin powder
1/4 cup cold water
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons coconut syrup
1/2 cup silver rum, or coconut rum
12 maraschino cherries, rinsed and dried
Mimosa Gelée Shots
1 1/2 cups orange juice (fresh squeezed, if possible)
1 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 cups champagne, prosecco or other sparkling wine
